To muddy the waters even further.  Last week I put the Y2K group PTF on 2 
AS/400s running
V4R3, and one asked for the second volume, and the other did not.  They were 
both at the
same CUM level.  So, as I read all these stories I have one explanation "Go 
Figure?"

Soap-box *ON
    The best things about an AS/400 is that we are carrying on a conversation 
about
whether or not we are asked about a 2nd CD, when the rest of the computer 
industry has
much bigger issues.

    I read a good quote last week, that said with the Advent of quicker and 
quicker PCs,
all it means is that your machines running Windows will crash quicker.  Soon, 
we will get
to the point where they will crash before they IPL.  :)
