I've had this problem in the past.  They will just argue that they were talking 
to end 
users or something if you do catch them.

I tried things like when their interactive job started (see sentence two 
above).  Here it 
took finding them logging time to a division the same time they logged 
themselves out, 
(that and my boss was on vacation so I got to deal with this now ex-employee).  
If your 
the supervisor then deal with it.  If your not, wait until it becomes a pattern 
until 
you say anything (maybe they got the squirts).  Don't bother trying to find too 
many 
electronic ways to track them.  After all we don't do that for our shop floor 
personnel, 
do we?

What AS/400 Journals, programs or methods, if any, will audit programmer jobs?
Augh,  I know it is the one that ruins it for the others and I think I have one
of those here.   I think the person has been away from the desk for at least an
hour!
