Probably.

If you'll settle for the data in a file and not the data as if you are running 
the SQL interactively you might want to try:

ftp somewhere
quote rcmd  call program to generate data
quit
some delay loop
ftp somewhere
get mylib/myfile
quit

Is it possible to send a SQL select to DB2 through FTP and have the result
sent back to the FTP client?  On MVS OE you can use "locsite file=sql" to
execute a SQL select and get the results
