Mike:

I am doing my V4R2 to V4R4 upgrade and I think I have the answers you want.

1. Service Director is a product installed by your CE. It does not come
with the upgrade. You will need to contact your CE and have him install the
V4R4 version. It is not critical, you can complete the upgrade without it.
2. We use 5769SA2 as the foundation for our Firewall for AS/400
licensed program. The V4R2 version is compatible with V4R4. If you no longer
use whatever application that accessed the IPCS, you should be able to
delete this product.

I hope this helps.

                Hello,
I hope someone can help me with 2 questions/problems.....

                1) What is Service Director (5798RZG)? I'm getting a msg
stating
SD has detected a change in the OS level. It must be
installed again.
I've gone through all my media, trying to restore but can't
find it.

2)Lic Pgm - IBM Integrated Services for FSIOP (5769SA2)
We were using this as a gateway into 400 using client
access. Now I'm
showing *ERROR next to it when I display Installed Lic Pgms.
I've done a
CHKPRDOPT and see where OS2, IBMCOM, MPTN, QFPNTWI files
plus a few others
could not be found. I believe we needed Lotus Notes running
for this
connection to occur, v4r4 doesn't support notes on FSIOP,
right?
                Any suggestions?

                Thank You,
                Mike Lindsay
