DG,

Had that same problem with /QNTC!  The job interactive job would not go
away.  It just sat there chewing up resources.  Even after an end job and
then an abend job command on the thing, it went away from wrkactjob &
wrksysact but if you did a dspjob on it you could still look at the job log,
so it was still churning.   The cure was ipl!
