I placed a 150 at a small paving company this past January.

They have 4 users and are very pleased with their system.

The CPW for a 150 is comparable to the bottom end of the 170. They felt
that since their 5363 lasted them as long as it did, they'll live with
$6,000 cost savings and run the 150 till it drops ;)

It's all the same OS, so you won't find any differences there. I'm not
up on all the hardware options, but I have to assume that the 170 will
offer more slots.

Check out site: http://www.as400.ibm.com/configure/welcome.htm
where you can download a AS/400 configurator and compare features.
