  • Subject: interactive vs batch CPW

Hello all,

I have received some contradictory informations and I hope that someone can
clear this up for me.

The new 720 models have 2 CPW ratings, one for interactive workload and one for
batch workload.

My question is this: Is a client access telnet session (tcpip)considered batch
or interactive? I tought that since it is using the 5250
data stream it was considered interactive. But someone told me that since it is
using IP, it is considered batch.

What is the truth?
