Jerry,

It's not my default work environment, but when I'm running a
lot of commands sequentially I'll usually call qcmd first.  
It's the best place to reuse/edit commands that you are
entering (like 25 similar SBMJOB commands).  It's also handy
for cut and paste because you can paste muli-line commands. 
You can't fo that from every menu command line.
