        SNIP...

#1 I'd start with GO LICPGM and take a OPTION #10 or use the cmd
DSPSFWRSC to get a list of what is installed.
If you don't find something installed that is on the inventory
then GO LICPGM #1 then #3 (NEW) and start shuffling CDs. This will
install everything on the CDs not already installed. This includes
things like BRMS that you not have bought but IBM gives you for a 70day
trail.

If you only want to put on selected programs then option #11
from GO LICPGM will you to select only the ones you want.

#2After you have installed all the IBM software do a GO PTF and
then #8 to install a ptf package use the CD's labeled C9xxx430 and put
on the CUM.

#3 If you need to use the cmd ADDLICKEY to put those codes in
the striped folder in. Each page has the instructions for putting them
in.

#4 Now is a good time for a FULL BACKUP of the base machine. GO
SAVE and take an opt #21.

At this point or before #4 you need to assign IP addresses,
Setup any networking, Setup the Netfinity/IPCS with NT or whatever if
you have it.

OK call your SW Vendor(s)/Programmer(s)/Consultant(s) etc and
let them started. There will still be lots to do like setting up users
based on the security plan, getting your regular backups started... etc.

        Hope this helps...
