You could try using CPYFRMPCD ......

         1) Save your spreadsheet as anyname.txt

         2) In Windows Explorer do Tools-Map Network Drive
For the path try \\S????????\QDLS where S???????? is the
id of
         you AS/400

         3) Using Windows explorer copy anyname.txt to a folder in QDLS, we
use a
         folder called transfer

         4) On the AS/400 do CPYFRMPCD FROMFLR(TRANSFER) TOFILE(QGPL/ANYPF)
         FROMDOC(ANYNAME.TXT)
Where ANYPF is a Physical File you have previously created.

         >I have some records in a Microsoft Excel file, and I want to put
        >this records in to the AS/400 in a Physical file is there any
method to
transfer this Excel file into AS/400.

        >I tried the Option available in the CA/400 5250 emulation screen
,but it
        bombs.

        >Can anyone give me some suggestion.

        >Thanks
        >Ravi
