Reminds me of the time I had to do a scratch reinstall, after
a DASD failure.  Was using reel to reel tapes, would put a
tape in, start it going, then go to the conference room right
across the hallway and fall asleep.

When a tape was finished it would rewind and unload with a
very audible "CLICK!" which would wake me up.  If that
tape drive hadn't had such a loud click I would of had to sit
there and watch it.

This would be a very valuable tool, I think.
