I have configured some of our dump terminals with what we call "Ghost"
profiles
using job descriptions and addwse, all you have to do is hit enter and the
terminal signs on, is this what you need?

I went out the Midrange-L archives and found a message sent by Jim
Oberholtzer
about how to do an automatic device signon, and he offered to send samples
as
well. I tried contacting him at his private e-mail account
(jim_oberholtzer@ibi.com) but that account is apparently no longer valid.
Does
anyone know how I might contact Jim. Short of that, does anyone have
examples
(printouts of: job description, subsystem description, user profile, and
class)
which would help in creating a device which automatically signs on and runs
a
particular program?

Thanks,
Dave
