I don't think that you are going to find what you want.  IBM has certain 
screen standards that they have to use by design.  They have added some 
better support in recent releases as to give you a clue where you are, such 
as the ugly status bars added in V4R2.  (Later to be made pretty at my 
urging for V4R4.)
