There is a good article in this months MC on the very same subject.

Also look at command cfgtcp.  option 2 is your routes.
You will also need anyone who wishes to send email from 400 to be in system
directory and alias table.
Use option 20 on cfgtcp then option 1.

We just did all this and it works great. We use an ISP as our mail server
though.
