On your subdur use the *M to retrieve the months.  Your result field should be large enough to hold the years * 12 + months.  Then divide by 12 to get the years and move the remainder to your months field.

Subject: ILE Question

I am trying to arrive at years and months on a subdur of date of employment to current date.  I can do *y or *m, but how can I get a breakdown of both years and months.
Also, it only seems to work if I use a 2 digit field for the months, and for employment, I would need greater than 2 digits.

Any help would be appreciated.
