Is there a message forum for NT on the AS/400.
Is anybody using this functionality?

I have had problems with the install that you may know about.
I have the books!
I have CD's
I have PTF's

1) Does anybody have a setup that is paying off for them?
2) A frustrating example is that I can not get the CDROM working with NT.

3) If I can install and have our help desk administer this function from
remote, we may install this at 100+ locations. A handful of help desk people
can do this with native AS/400's but when I think about NT in the picture,
that does not seem as likely.

4) Ideally, I will create tapes of images to load into a library that
includes the licensed NT product and Office 97. These images will be loaded
with setup procedures.
Example, If we have to go to 100 sites to load MS Offices SR-2 (release 2),
the concept of NT on our AS/400 will never fly!

5) Basically, we want to give the remote site some basic corporate
functions.
-EMAIL, Letter Writing, spreadsheet, charts, printing, intranet browsing,
PDF document review, etc.

6) Is a terminal server the answer?

It is difficult to do these basic things, what millions of internet
customers do at home, with the AS/400 of the past.

Any thoughts or links appreciated.
