What is the Cat 5 connected to on the AS400 side.  The twinax port or a
breakout box of some type.  Is the breakout box powered or passive?  If
powered, what does the manual say?  If you are running directly off the
twinax ports,  Same limit as twinax.  I cannot remember exactly but I think
it is around 1000 feet.
