I have never investigated the SMTP/POP3 capabilities (my
network is two PC's and one AS/400 all in a distance of max
2 meters), but I should say yes. At least http, ftp, telnet, file
sharing etc. is a part of the preconfigured OS/400-instalation except
for a command "Start Host Server *ALL" that must be included in the 
QSTRUP-program.
