I did do a WRKACTJOBs and did a 5 on each of them, but I was looking
at the files they had open, to make sure they had the exact same file open
(which they did).

I ran a query on the file from both users, and both queries ran, but I noticed
that some of my values had +++++++++ instead of numbers in them. Another
company had done the DDS for this file a while back, and I had thought it was
correctly, obviously it isn't. I'm going to have to redo the DDS on this file
(and
it is a rather large one) and make sure everything is 100% correct, which it
obviously isn't.

I can understand UPDDTA not working if the DDS is mapped wrong, I just
can't figure out what makes one user be able to use it (me) and not another.

I guess it's just another one of those "interesting" things which I'll never
know

the answer too and just fix the problem.

Thanks for all your suggestions everyone.

Regards,

Jim Langston
