Sanity Check time.

I have two systems on V4R4 with the AS/400 Netserver running on both. Both
systems show up in the network neighborhood correctly. I can access files and
have some printers shared and they work fine. I can create shares and work with
security via Ops Nav. Problem is that on BOTH systems I cannot create a
directory
or add/update files via the network neighborhood. I just get a not authorized
error. If I go to a command line and enter Net Use .... I get the same results.

I am signed on as a Security Officer class user with *ALLOBJ and I have also
updated the security on the directory to *RWX/*ALL for my profile to no avail. I
even tried creating a share to the root ('\') and I can't create files there
either. If I go to WRKLNK on a green screen I have no problems. We have tried
other user profile even QSECOFR. No Guest access is allowed to either system.

Other systems that I connect to I have no problems with just these two.

SO what incredibly obvious thing am I missing here???

 -Larry
