I think I missed a days messages (went to log off the NT server when I went
home and accidentally did a shutdown instead of log off. When I came in the
next morning had a message box stating it was okay to shut down my computer,
and did I want to restart it? *arg!* About 10 seconds after I noticed this I
got a phone call, "Jim, our e-mail is not working...".). Anyway, instead of the
70 or so messages I normally get everyday, I got 7. Never received the other
messages, as far as I know, although it doesn't appear I missed any threads.

What was my point? Oh, yes 8-)

So, that same day I received about 5 duplicate messages, and I had just assumed
it was midrange-l.com's server attempting to resend a message thinking I hadn't
received it.

(Just thinking if I did an IPL of the AS/400 and forgot to tell it when to
re-ipl
or
something *shudder*)

Regards,

Jim Langston
