Yes.  That's where the question arose.  If you mouse click on the column
heading for column 1 through column 4 the subfile will be presented in the
order of the column clicked.  The column location remains unchanged because
my experience is that users do not like the data jumping from place to
place, but in the example the column headings are blue, excepting the chosen
column's heading is changed to green.  Works simply and the programming is
trivial.

I've thought about it but never got around to trying it.  But I do
have subfiles which use the cursor position along with a Fx key to
select a sort sequence.  When the cursor is not in a sortable column
(ie the Opt column) it chooses the "next" sort sequence in a
round-robin fashion.
