John -

Advanced System Concepts makes a great job accounting package called
Status/400.

Call Mike Cassara at 847 605 1311 for a demo....

This product in conjunction with accounting codes in OS/400 can track usage
down to any level you can think of.

I've divided our users into several "groups" and can create resource usage
reports showing exactly how many transactions, CPU seconds, printed pages,
disk storage, and even clock time is consumed by each group. It also lets
you create invoices to use in a charge a back scenario.

It does this by placing OS/400 generated job accounting information into a
database and providing tools for mining this data.

Kenneth

Subject: Job Accounting

Hi everyone,

We use contractor programmers on and off site. I am looking for some
software than can keep up with how much actual time a person works on the
system not just signed on. If anyone knows of this type of software I would
appreciate the info.

Thanks;

John Harrison
