You could try this:

CRTCLS CLS(QGPL/NOWAIT) DFTWAIT(1)  
                                                        
 ADDRTGE SBSD(QBATCH) SEQNBR(12345) CMPVAL(NOWAIT)  PGM(QSYS/QCMDB) 
CLS(QGPL/NOWAIT)   
   
Then change your submit job command to something like this:
SBMJOB YadaYadaYada  RTGDTA(NOWAIT)     

You might want to use a better naming/numbering convention, but you get the 
idea.
I haven't done this, but it seems like it should work.
