I would agree that the nut is tough to crack.  One reasom I think is because really it  isn't that big a deal.  It just brings the green screen closer to the capabilities of DOS,  and Lord knows,  DOS doesn't turn heads anymore.  

Operator training and navigation are the two items that I think of when I try to find the value-added of these navigation tools.  The other point that I can think of is the idea of establishing a new "enhanced" standard for a shop, allowing incremental improvements that are reachable without risk.

This is a much tougher nut to crack... but remember, you have sell the
idea
before you show it off... Keep it simple, keep it easy, keep it bullet
proof...
