Bill, I'm not sure about what the Tiex hubs do but we have historically use
OmniStar/400's from Omintron Systems Tech, Inc.  We like them because of the
noise filtering and distance capabilities.  You can see them on the web at
www.omintron-systems.com.  I haven't spoken to him in a while but I have done
work with Greg Poggi 800.675.8410.
