Martin,

Thanks for the reply. Could you be more specific, though, as I am not sure
what you mean. I am not running any scripts on the AS/400 -- I am simply
FTPíng into from the PC. I do run some FTP scripts and commands from the PC
though.

Does this mean that the NAMEFMT command is only valid when using the AS/400
as an FTP _client_?
