We use a separate 400 for EDI processing. Helps bust tier pricing
on the main 400, and, keeps the load (all that string handling) off
the main 400. We use the ACS/Premenos/Harbinger Trusted Link.
However with their GUI package jacking up the cost and complexity,
I don't know...

If GUI is so productive then I assume that people developing GUI
applications have GUI tools, right? Then why does GUI applications
cost so darn much? The end result is the same - it sets up the mapping
of EDI data.

Subject: EDI packages

Hi all,

I have a client looking for EDI for one customer. A 400 based solution is
way too costly. Is there anyone out there using non 400 based products - do
you like them, not, thoughts.

Thanks

john
