Deleting AS/400 Email directly from IFS

We are running V4R2M0 and the SMTP/POP servers that come with OS/400.  I
have developed an interface to allow our users to read/send email directly
from any web browser without having to configure smtp/pop on whichever PC
they are connected to. This is used for our people on the road.

I would like to add a DELETE button to this program, which would be very
easy to do.  My command would be something like;

RMVLNK OBJLNK('/QTCPTMM/MAIL/WEBMASTER/jw005812.not')

My question - Is there anything I am forgetting?  Are there pointers
somewhere in QMSF, POP3, or SMTP that are not getting cleared out by doing
this?
