Buck/Paul,

16mbs is WAY too low - I don't have personal experience with this model HP but 
we
have a 5si and it had 4mb (believe it or not - this was before I got here) and 
we
got the MPI Blue Kit and their recommendation was to ADD 16mb as a MINIMUM to 
run
AFP.

From experience - laser printers (JUST like PC's) LOVE all the memory they can
get and behave MUCH better !
