Hello.

We just started setting up Trusted Link to receive an 850. We built
logicals over the files that the data is mapped to. They were uniquely
keyed (transaction number for header, transaction number, detail line number
for detail).

When trying to map, the mapping program (Harbinger's) bombed (hard crash,
amazing for a purchased product) with a duplicate key error on one of their
files (not our files).

We remove our logicals, and the program does not bomb when mapping.

After looking at the data, there is no data that would have caused a
duplicate key error from our logicals. Then again, it is their file that it
is getting the duplicate key error on.

Can you not have ANY logicals on the files that are used to map data from
EDI? Their tech support seemed to have think so, but I think it was just to
get off us the phone. Not to mention we told them what we did to make it
work. We're still waiting for a call from a developer to see why we can't
have logicals on our files for mapping.

Anyone?
