I am looking for a piece of PC (WIN95/98) software that I can execute out of
a batch file that will dial a selected Dial up networking number with PPP
and then have the ability to disconnect. I'd like to do something like the
following.

pppdial.exe host1
ftp s:script.txt
pppdial.exe -q

What I am looking for is something like pppdial.exe (made up of course) that
will execute a dial up networking session without the user needing to press
anything, and then have an option to do a disconnect after my FTP script
runs. That is what line 3 is support to represent (-q=quit). Anyone know
of such a utility???
What I am trying to do here is have a batch file that I can attach to an EDI
translator and have it start a automated connection to a RAS that has an
AS400 on it. After the connect the FTP script will run, put my file and
execute a program to process the data, after than the PC will disconnect.
Thanks,
CJG
