As it happens, I'm in day 2 of a three day disaster recovery test, and have just had my first "funny". I have just restored a full system save as per the ibm disaster recovery instructions. When i do a wrkcfgsts *dev, all my display stations, comms lines, tape drives etc are there, but absolutely no printers!!!!! They're not hard to re-create, but both the IBM engineer and me are puzzled.... I'm restoring the nightly backup as i type; this has a savsecdta and a savcfg, so i'm hoping it'll pick the printer device descriptions up of that. Anyone else (whose tested their DR plan!) has this one?
