  • Subject: Changing Face of "Local" IBM Staffing...
  • From: Chuck Lewis <clewis@xxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Folks,

I'm located in Indianapolis, IN.

My 3 year old came walking up to me Saturday with a business card case
from IBM (he had found an OLD briefcase I guess <BG>). I opened it up
and was AMAZED to see all the cards for local IBM folks that are no
longer with IBM. This case is PROBABLY 8-10 years old (?) but it runs
the gamut of CE's, SE's (remember them), Managers, Specialists, etc. and
virtually NONE of them are with IBM anymore (and these were "young"
folks so retirement was NOT the reason). Anyone else notice this in
their areas ? We lost some REALLY good folks locally here and it is
AMAZING what they switched to career wise (we still keep in touch) !

Chuck
