  • Subject: Legacy Programmer needs help

Situation:

Mod 600 v4r3

8 pcs on win95 on a lan

6 more on a wan 12 miles away with T1
3 more on a wan 300 miles away using VPN
all machines have a mixture of sna--netsoft router--rumba-tcp/ip--802.2dlc

We have decided on Reflections 7.0 as our vendor of choice--the telnet
works perfectly
for access from any site--we wish to get rid of the rest of the garbage and
standardize.

The Problem:

I have been unable to transfer flat files from pc's to the AS400--FTP wont
seem to read
the AS400--I am at a loss as to use a different transfer method- I
currently sneak bye by using
and old version of pcs thru twinax--There is something I am missing--Anyone
who has
knowledge in this area is invited to contact me directly--rather than
clutter up the list.

I really need the help and all advice is appreciated.

Thank you for this resource

Regards,

Bob
