 PING       RMTSYS(NOTESFAX) MSGMODE(*QUIET *ESCAPE)       
 MONMSG     MSGID(TCP3210 TCP3202) EXEC(GOTO CMDLBL(ALERT))

Type in PING and hit F4.  Position your cursor at the top.  Press F1, read it 
all.

How do you check in a CL program to see if the PING is successful.  You
can't do a MONMSG can you?
