MCI is getting a little more clever.  They promise you lots of air 
miles, but, how many you get depends on how many months of consecutive 
service you stay.

The good thing about this is, that it's at least $50, sometimes $75 or $100.
I always cashed them, and then after I got the first bill, switched back to
MCI.  I cleared at least $700 in a year and half period doing this.  My
phone bill was never over $20.  :)

Also, MCI used to give you money or free long distance to switch back.  So,
they would call after they realized I had switched and offer something else.
This hasn't happened for a while, though.
