Well, talking about computer terms, people have asked why things are called
"daemons" and "sprite" graphics, and such.  It goes back to the days of AD&D
when a lot of programmers played it.

So, they just brought the terms into the computer world and named things after
it.

Who knows? Perhaps someone at Dell liked the group.
