Archie,

Though the drives are mapped, they go nowhere and contain nothing. But,
when you try to use a drive letter, Windows says the drive is already
attached? Which is not true. I suspect from the responses I've been
receiving, that this is a Windows 95 problem. I tried bring the BIOS
back to factory settings, deleting the drives in Device Manager (in
Control Panel, systems) and re-booting. Didn't work. The last resort
will be to run ZZTop and bring the whole computer back to factory
install settings and re-load software. Thank you for your reply.

I suspect Glenn is right but I seem to remember you saying that your
search drives were not mapped prior to installing CA. If not, what are
the mapped drives prior to CA install and then what are they after.
After
you make a connection can you go in and disconnect the mapping of any
of the drives, say f: - z:? Can you go out to Network neighborhood and
see the AS400 and its objects/libs.
These are not help questions I am just curious. CA has done some real
brutal things to me this last go around ; not on every box, but it is
hard to
find a common denominator. v3.2.0 sf57002

Melenie,

Sounds to me that this is a PC or Network Properties issue and not
Client
Access. All of the drives were probably already mapped before the
install
process.
