I would check your comms.

I've seen this on V3R1, when a PC dies and the job cannot be ended
immediately or abnormally - the PWRDWNSYS *IMMED then hangs, and you get a
bunch of SRC codes on the front panel. The IPL works but you get the
abnormal IPL message.

I'd forgotten about it until two weeks ago when I saw a site on V4R3 that
gets the same message every IPL. They believe the culprit to be an X21 line
that is either active, or spoofing.

Both cases are comms related - and I'd be interested to know if you can
eliminate this as your cause.
