Did you have a power outage long enough to blow the UPS? Try the following:
DSPLOG PERIOD((*AVAIL 080299)) MSGID(CPF1816 CPF1817)
IF you have the cable that goes from the UPS to the 400 correctly attached,
and you had a power failure, you should at least see the CPF1816. I test our
huge ups on a regular basis by tripping the 3pole breaker that feeds it. It
only supports about 8 AS/400's.

Subject: UPS trouble

Last night about 23:30 my system (170) stopped....

When I came in this morning everything was dead. Pressed the power
button on the UPS and all is well again. (or maybe not).

The system looked as if someone pushed the power button on the UPS and
turned if off - but no one was in the building

The UPS is the one that is supplied with the system. Has anybody heard
of this problem?

TIA

P.S. the CPM feature appeared to work because I have Job logs from all
of the Jobs that were running at the Time the system crashed.
