1) With Domino you want to always be at the latest version of OS/400.
2) I would consider waiting until r5.1 of Domino and skip R5. Info from
inside sources. 'nuff said.
3) There is a little yellow manual that came with the yellow box of manuals
for Domino on the 400. The manual is entitled 'Installing and Managing Domino
for AS/400 for release 4.6'. Page 72 has a section entitled 'Deleting Domino
software from AS/400'. It is right after the section 'Deleting a Domino Server
from AS/400'. The CFGDOMSVR *REMOVE will delete the data directories
associated with the server. DLTLICPGM 5769LNT will delete the rest. For

Subject: Domino on the AS/400 and how to Unstall it?

I have been given the task of loading Domino on our AS/400 model 170
with OS/400 v4r2. I've got the R5 version of Domino Notes on CD. The
AS/400 had R4.6 loaded but never configured beyond the *FIRST CFGDOMSVR
routine. I attempted the LODRUN from the R5 CD and everything seemed
fine until I tried to get it working. Since then I have deleted the
obvious QNOTES and QUSRNOTES libraries and the \note\data IFS folder.
Then tried the R5 CD install again.

Now it fails with CFGDOMSVR ended abnormally but the joblog shows no
failure.

How would you go about removing and/or deleting Domino and starting
over? Is there additional IFS folders that should be deleted?

TIA
