Hello Rob,

AFAIK the format of a save file is not externally documented.  Each record is 
512 bytes long 
including 4-bytes (??) of checksum data.  You would need to reverse engineer 
the structure.  Be 
aware that the structure can change from one release to another.  What are you 
trying to 
accomplish?  I assume you need to do this because you have a savefile that 
can't be restored 
and you need the data from a file that is saved in the save file.  There is the 
QSRLSAVF API 
that will return a list of the contents of the save file and is release 
independent.
