  I called the IBM Support Line to ask specifically about ANY pre-req PTFs.
They told me that there were none.  I insisted that I had read about the
problem, and asked them to double check.
  I was told that there were problems with the CUM CDs that had originally
been sent out.  Apparently, when applying the CUM, after the v4r4 install,
the system makes a request for the second CD.  When you put it in, the
system responds with a message to the effect that it can't find the second
disk image (even though it is in the drive).
  They sent a replacement CUM CD with a pkgid of C9166440.
