I haven't had any trouble with MS Query since we scrapped the old 16 bit
version. I usually avoid the query builder though, go straight to the SQL
window and paste in a query that I've written and tested in ISQL. I've
never gotten the CA add-in for Excel to retrieve anything but garbage, but
I haven't tried in quite a while. The initial release seemed to have
problems with code page conversion, and I haven't need to revisit it.
