RCLSTG is not supposed to free any storage at all.
RCLSTG may return to system only storage occupied by orphan objects, which
happens sometimes due to some problems with OS code.
It will, however free storage occupied by temporary objects, wbut this can be
done by a normal IPl and much faster.
So if you do not suspect any problem with your system, do not expect much from
RCLSTG.

Subject: storage

Hello,
I got a request from a co-worker for more storage room and was
looking at this Reclaiming Storage procedure. I do not think it has been run
in a long time, not in the 7 months I been here. Is there a lot of storage
that gets freed up from running this procedure?

I was thinking of kicking it off tonight since it looks like it will take a
while to run.
Thanks in advance
Art
