I wrote a small utility that varies back on devices specified in a file if
they are not varied on. It sleeps for a while then wakes up and resets
those comm devices, controllers and lines on my remote unmanned machines.
If you want it I can post for all.

Subject: Monitor program for CPF1397 in QSYSOPR

Hello All,

Does someone have a program to monitor for CPF1397 messages in QSYSOPR to
log or vary back on disabled devices? I know I could do this myself, but
it's
a time thing...

I would like to know when a device is disabled in this manner such that
I can write a program to enable them again, or list them somehow in a
"pool".

(Why? Well, its for the Telnet Exits.)

I'm afraid I'm not RPG or COBOL literate, so if I have a choice, I'd go with
C
or CL. Thanks!
