You should look into the Show me product from OS Solutions. You can reach them
at area code 203 744 7854. We had a Demo at our user group from Pete Massiello
and the product is great.

Subject: Best tool for Reports and Queries on the Web

Any ideas on good tools for offering customers access to data (JBA) on our
AS/400? Primarily, these would be reports we have developed that various
customers would run with the option of specifying some run-time parameters.
We would prefer that the user requirements be nothing other than a standard
browser, although some downloadable client software would be considered.
For a variety of reasons, we'll be using Microsoft IIS running on Windows/NT
for our webserver. We'll be getting into E-Commerce transactions later and
we're learning towards IBM Net.Commerce (on a separate Windows/NT) server
for that. We're open to some functions being performed on the AS/400 where
it makes sense. The ideal solution would offer dynamic queries that allowed
user drill-downs to data and offered high quaility printed reports and also
the ability to download data into popular PC formats. Eventually, we'll be
wanting to give customers access to some data on our MS SQLserver C/S
applications also, so a tool with support for both platforms would be a
plus. Thanks for any input.
