Here's a slightly different approach if none of the other suggestions
meet your need. This method can be used to automate the capture of stuff
from another jobs QTEMP - you need to be able to change the jobq and
routing data that the submission uses:
1. Create a subsystem and a jobq - you could use an existing one. By
modifying the SBMJOB parms, force the job to this job queue with
RTGDTA(*RQSDTA).
2. Add a routing entry to the subsystem for a compare value of *ANY.
Enter a program name/library on the pgm parm.
3. Create a CL program with the name given above. In this CL retrieve
joblog messages looking for CPI1125. (There's an API for this). Scan the
message data of this message for RTGDTA(. The data following this will
be the command submitted (CALL MYPGM etc).
Run this using QCMDEXC. You can now do whatever you need to do with the
objects in QTEMP.
I have a shell that does most of this.
