Oracle databases do not run natively on the AS/400.   Oracle had a project a
couple of years back to do this, but they abandoned it.   My guess as for why it
was scrapped is that DB2/400 is free with every AS/400, and free is pretty hard
to compete against (just ask netscape! :).
